Welcome to the
Chamber of Commerce
Nestled only a 1/2 hour from Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Jackson, the Stockbridge area is a prime location to live for anyone that thrives on a friendly, rural atmospere, but still wants a short drive to the mall. And, it's an excellent choice for any business wishing to be located near three major Michigan cities.
The Stockbridge area harbors a very diverse collection of natural environments, including multiple forest types, prairies, and water bodies. Downtown attractions offer historical charm, parks and recreation space, all surrounded by farmland vistas. The Stockbridge Area is part of the 5Healthy Towns Coalition which support campaigns such as SRSLY Stockbridge and more.
Michigan State University, as part of the Stockbridge Urban Trails Plan, has recognized the Stockbridge Area as "a special place with enormous potential."
The Stockbridge Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to achieve the objectives of promoting growth, community, and volunteerism to the communities of Gregory, Munith and Stockbridge by supporting other local groups or individuals for the common good, and organizing events that attract and retain businesses and residents.
Monthly Meetings are welcome to the public.
